This pattern is good for an adventurous beginner or intermediate crocheter. Holding 2 strands of 4 weight yarn together give this cowl it’s structure and fit. You can use a bulky 5 or super bulky 6 yarn instead, just hold only one strand of yarn, although the fabric will be slightly less firm.
It is more of a fitted cowl and will not gap or sag in the front.
