The Mesh Tanka Scarf
This is a 2 row repeat pattern, perfect for beginners as it uses stitches that are the building blocks for most crochet.
I chose to make this scarf in a 4 weight wool blend yarn, but you could substitute any yarn you want to create the scarf. A lighter weight yarn would create a very drapey fabric, as well as a bulky yarn would create a thicker fabric. Just adjust your hook size to accomodate the yarn you choose. Experiment and have fun.
I made the scarf in the picture 9 inches wide by 70 inches long, but you can make it as wide and as long as you like. The amount of yarn you need will vary with the size you choose.
You are welcome to sell any items you make with this pattern, just please be sure to credit me with the design. Please do not sell this pattern. Thanks!
