Ni Ju Shi is the twenty-fourth and last day of the 2017 Advent calendar: twenty-four patterns, one a day, to learn to count in Chinese.

It is written 二十四: two, then the cross of ten, then four, an open square that holds two small strokes. Two times ten, and four.

This large scarf is striped in two colors, two rows of each, in stockinette stitch, between two borders in 1/1 ribbing, and a rounded edge borders it on each side. It is knitted flat, from one border to the other, in two colorways of (Vi)Laines “Tordue Aran”.
