Bundle Alert! When you bundle Night Heron with an SQ of Weld on the Hudson + West Co. site, you’ll get a discount off the pattern.

Night Heron is a play on the timeless striped sweater – a simple stranded colorwork motif creates a textured look to the horizontal bands and creates compelling visual interest in the combination of horizontal and vertical stripes. This sweater has a classic crew neck and comfortable relaxed fit. The circular yoke construction, worked from the top down, allows you to check fit as you work. Designer Andrea Gaughan, a new Friend of the Flock, named this sweater after the yellow-crowned night heron, a stunning and mysterious bird she has had the pleasure of meeting on late evening beach walks along the Atlantic Ocean, just blocks away from her home.
