Nightly Penguins Neckwarmer
by oneclearcall
This buff/neckwarmer/call it what you will is inspired by Herbert Ponting’s photographs of Adélie penguins. It’s doubleknitting, so fully reversible, and the double layer of fabric makes it soft and cosy. Yes, the pattern title is a horrible pun, thank you for noticing.
To make this pattern, you will need approx. 175m each of two different colours of yarn - I used black and white - and 2.5mm DPNs or 40cm circular needles.
The gauge (23 st x 32 rows) is given for doubleknitting, which you may find looser than your regular stockinette gauge.
