The Nip Slip Socks bring a sense of cheeky joy to your needles, featuring a perfectly round cable motif finished with a tiny purl-stitch centre. Framed by stretchy ribbing and slip-stitch columns, this design offers a fantastic fit and a rhythmic, engaging knit.

The sock is knit from the top down with a slipped stitch heel flap and traditional gusset. I finished it with my version of a rounded toe. The ribbing and slip stitch coloumns are continued on the back of the leg. I recommend a cable needle for the 5 stitch cable motif.

Small 56 stitch, (Medium 64 stitch, Large 72 stitch).
7 (8, 9) inches / 18 (20.25, 23) cm,approximate foot circumference.

Written and charted instructions are included with a video tutorial to show the cable combination.

The pattern looks great on lots of different types of yarn…Give it a try! Check out my tester’s project pages for inspiration.

I used a sock set 100g Main Colour & 20g Contrast Colour from Yarn Indulgences in the Nip Slip colour. Thank you Deborah for the yarn support.

Huge thanks to my test knitters Heather J, Rochelle, Leanne, Alexa, Ruth, Josee, Manon, Kathryn, Kelly, Noelle, Lee, Mara, Susie, Traci and Sophie for their feedback and their beautiful socks.
