Start a family tradition with this beautiful stocking.

This is a personalized Christmas Stocking that has both the popular Holly Design for Christmas as well as the word NOEL. Top edge is formed using a fold over cuff to allow for beautiful finishing. Pattern is worked on single side of stocking. Reverse side is solid white.

Stocking is worked in stockinette stitch on single point needles. Patterns can be worked using bobbins or by carrying yarn behind work because all the patterns as small. The heel is created using a two sided heel.

Equipment needed include needles appropriate to create gauge, stitch markers, stitch holders, tapestry needle, scissors, bobbins if desired. Approximate size is 17 inches from cuff to bottom of heel and 9 inches from back of heel to tip of toe.

Materials required approximately 1 ounce (52 yards) each red and green and 3 ounces white (156 yards).
