This shawl is a clean-edged asymmetrical shawl perfect to pair with sweaters in the spring and fall and with coats in the winter. The stitch pattern is very reminiscent of the fields of canola moving in the winds or the lapping of water at lakes edge both are iconic to my childhood…

Best with a skein of tonal or solid yarn and a variegated or speckly skein as contrast. Available in two sizes the small requires 2 skeins of fingering weight. the large version is a 4 skein project, two in the main color and two in a contrast color again fingering weight.

Gauge is not super stressed in this pattern. Use the recommended needle size for your yarn choice.
