The Northwind Hat is a ribbed beanie with a folded brim.

The hat is knitted in the round from the bottom up with two strands of yarn held together – DK -weight merino wool and mohair.

The Long-tail tubular cast-on is used for this hat (you can also use the standard Long-tail cast-on).
