My asymmetrical shawl pattern can be worked with one color or 3 gradating colors. Shawl is worked with 1 increase on every right side row and 1 decrease every other row on left side. Lengthwise lace patterns are introduced at 20 st. intervals. Pattern then progresses into a width-wise intricate diamond lace finishing with a picked up lace border on 2 lower edges. Shawl is knit in one continue piece, no seams.

Materials needed:
840 yds. Fingering weight ( 14 wpi ) Example uses Madelinetosh
Tosh Merino light, 2 Skeins or 3 for gradating.
#6, 4.00 mm Knitting Needles.

Finished size wet blocked with this yarn is 24” by 62”. Different yarn will yield unique measurements.

Pattern in entirely in both charted and row by row written instructions and should be no trouble for the moderate lace knitter.
