These socks were designed with Bellica Yarns “Smoky Sky” and “Bang” colourways in mind.
The simple spiral design of the fold down cuff, was designed to resemble the spirals of the Catherine Wheel firework, and the alternating colours of toes, the burst or colour in the nights smokey sky.
Designed for use with a mini circular needle, this pattern can be easily followed by someone using DPN’s or Magic loop.
Easy enough for a beginner, but enough interest for an advanced socker also.
There are three adult size options, small, medium and large.
The pattern calls for a main colour and a contrasting colour, but you could just as easily use the one main colour.
The instructions are for a heel flap and gusset.
