The Oak Bonnet is a classic knitted bonnet designed to keep little ones warm and cosy. Worked in a beautiful 2×2 garter rib stitch, it has a timeless shape and a soft, textured finish.
The Oak Bonnet is worked from the forehead towards the crown in a beautiful 2×2 garter rib stitch. Stitches are then picked up around the neckline to knit the ribbed neckband.

The I-cord ties are knitted separately. Finally, the back seam is sewn and the ties are attached to each side of the bonnet to complete the design.
The pattern includes detailed written instructions and explanations of the stitches and techniques used.

Yarn: DK – Light Worsted. Suggested yarn: DROPS Merino Extra Fine. Alternative yarns: Debbie Bliss Rialto DK, LB Collection Superwash Merino, Rosários4 Merino 4 US (50 g = 125 m).
