CONSTRUCTION
The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down, beginning with the back. The shoulders are shaped with increases, then the back is worked in pattern to the underarms.
Stitches are picked up along each back shoulder to work the fronts. The V-neck and armholes are shaped while working each front separately to the underarms. Once both fronts are complete, they are joined with the back at the underarms, and the body is worked flat in one piece.
After completing the body, stitches are picked up around each armhole and the sleeves are worked in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up along the front edges to work the button band. Sew on the buttons to finish.

  • European shoulder construction
  • Worked top down
  • Video tutorials included: pattern swatch, picking up stitches for the fronts, and making buttonholes
