Hello! My Name is Caitlyn Pereira! I’m a high school graduate and I’ve been crocheting for over just over 6 years now, I’m super excited to share my second pattern which is a Ocean-Themed multi color laptop cover!

This is a cute pattern for a laptop cover or a file/book cover. It’s a pattern that doesn’t require buttons, zippers or other components that you’d need to attach making it a perfect pattern for people just getting started with crochet!

The cover was made for a 14 x 10 inch laptop, the cover itself is 17.5 x 11 inches and I used about 2-and-a-half to 3 cakes of yarn for this pattern.

This is a pattern that may be complex for some beginners because part of the pattern uses waffle stitch. I recommend watching a video or reading a tutorial if you’re not comfortable with front-post and back-post stitches. Otherwise, carry on and crochet yourself a cute laptop cover!

Apart from double crochet rows, this pattern also uses Shell Stitch and Waffle Stitch, the gauge information for the same is found below:

1. Shell Stitch: 22 stitches and 13 rows in 4 inches
2. Waffle Stitch: 16 stitches and 13 rows in 4 inches
