ABOUT THE PATTERN
The October Cowl is perfect for the cooler days of fall with a simple lace of knits, yarn overs and decreases in a worsted weight yarn. This shorter, more fitted cowl uses the same lace as my April Cowl and was the idea of one of the April Cowl test knitters.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
One Size:
about 22” around by 8” tall (56 cm by 20 cm)

MATERIALS
Yarn:
160 yards Worsted weight yarn
Sample worked in Valley Yarns Colrain in the color Navajo Red and used 70 g or about 150 yards.
Needles: Size US 7 (4.50 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular needle (or size needed to get gauge)
Notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle

GAUGE
20 sts and 22 Rows = 4” (10 cm) in Pattern after blocking
