A quick, fun project that is beginner-friendly and only requires a few basic stitches!

Ogre-faced spiders are not your average cute-and-cuddly fuzzy arachnids. They have long, long legs, big angry eyes, and jaws that would make even a granny-dressed wolf jealous. Most catch their prey by weaving a web on their front legs to act as a sort of net to cast over their victims. They can see really well in the dark, an unfortunate trait for any insect that wanders into their path.

Materials:
• Approximately 45-50 yards (41-46 meters) of size 4 worsted weight yarn (this is a very good project to use up any scraps you might have laying around!)
• 3.5/E4mm crochet hook
• 2 safety eyes (the bigger, the better since this spider’s best asset is its ginormous eyes!)
• Darning needle
• Scissors
• Stuffing (yarn ends, polyfil, bits of shredded fabric… almost anything works well as a stuffing)

This pattern is in US terms. Includes 6 pages of directions and colored photos.
