I designed this hat for my brother, who every year critiqued the previous years’ hats in the hopes that one day I would create the ideal hat for him. Last year he got Oh Brother, and only asked that there be a design on the inside too. He wanted something simple and classic, and most importantly kept his ears warm. That’s why this hat has a wide, folded brim, which means it’s doubly warm and cozy.
Because the colorwork double brim is so warm, I’ve written this pattern to include 2 other brim options, all with varying degrees of warmth.
