Olkhon” is a classic triangular shawl shaped in two equal triangles left and right from the central line. Body, featuring the textured lace motifs, is worked flat seamlessly, from a basic tab down to the fringe border.

Skill Level: Intermediate, although the pattern is beginner friendly.

Original yarn: 104 g of the following contain: 1 thread of Alize Kid Royal (62% kid mohair, 38% PA, 500m (547 yds) per 50g skein) + 1 thread of Tollegno Harmony 2/30 (100% merino, 1500m (1640 yds) per 100g skein) held together throughout.

Alternative yarn: any thin mohair/alpaca+merino/silk fiber in suggested total yardage (approx. 600m (656 yds) per 100 g skein.

Circular knitting needles US 2.5 (3 mm) 40” (100 cm) length cable.

Notions: some waste yarn, stitch markers and sewing pins.
