“Violin” is a classic triangular shawl, worked flat seamlessly, featuring the lace stitch pattern with a delicate treble clef motif, and decorated with the peaky border.

Skill Level: Intermediate, although the pattern is beginner friendly.

Original yarn: 1 skein of Laines Du Nord Poema, 100% extra fine merino wool, 600m (656 yds) per 150g (5.29 oz) skein – Shade 23.
Alternatively, use any natural fiber yarn in approx. suggested yardage. Total amount of yarn will depend on your personal knitting gauge as well as on the needle size and specific yarn weight.

US 6 (4 mm) circular knitting needles 40” (100 cm) length cable.

Notions: some waste yarn; stitch markers and sewing pins.
