By buying this pattern, you will get 4 files total: a fingering and DK, with a normal and LIGHT version for each:

  • the normal pattern with lots of notes, tips and tricks, explanations and hand holding
  • a LIGHT version which only includes the minimum if you are a confident knitter and don’t need as much guidance.

The Olympic Cami or Dress is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down and is designed to be the perfect all around summer staple, while still hugging your upper bust to avoid the dreaded flashes that usually come with spaghetti strap V-necks. It includes optional horizontal bust darts and bottom darts as well as body shaping for a perfect fit and comes in two gauges to allow complete freedom when choosing yarn and size: you can go with a loose gauge with a thin yarn for a floaty and lightweight dreamy garment, or go with a heavy yarn at a tight gauge and size down for a firm and sturdy bralette. The two strap options allow for even more playfulness in the final look.
Both the Cami and the Dress views have a gentle A-line shape for a breezy fit and the pattern includes 5 different options for the bottom hem. The straps are worked with i-cords, just as the waistband of the dress that is encased in a neat stockinette channel.

To see different versions of the pattern knit in various yarns, sizes, fibers and colors, you can check out the testers version under the “Project” tab or the #OlympicCami and #OlympicDress on Instagram.
