My name is Maya, I live in the french-speaking part of Switzerland and I love everything that has to do with knitting. Freestyling my own wardrobe happens to be pretty entertaining, so I’m sharing my designs for everyone to join me in the knitting fun.

I enjoy interesting knits that are (more or less) out of the ordinary, but what sparks the most joy is to design perfectly fitting pieces. I care a lot about fit across the size range, be it for slim or fat bodies but also for people who simply do not fall within the standards sizing proportions.

I myself have an athletic build (hardcore climber here) and struggled for years to simply understand why clothes didn’t fit me despite having a pretty average bust measurement. Now that I’ve cracked the code, I try my best to pass down the knowledge I have acquired to modify a pattern and make it my own.

That’s why my designs always include lots of guidance on how to select the correct size, how to modify the pattern and what to look out for when doing so. This makes most of them not beginner friendly, but at least they are not only size inclusive but also proportions inclusive, and that’s my pride and joy!
