Some people brighten the world, just by being in it. This shawl design was created to honor Tinkerbellsmom (and others like her) who in her living added light and beauty to this world, creating a special kind of magic. She egged us on to be more, and believe more, and create more. A whisper of her presence lingers on… inviting us to become more.

Sizing Although the pattern is one size, you can have it larger or smaller depending on the size of the yarn you choose. For a smaller shawl use lace weight yarn, for a larger shawl, use fingering or sport weight yarn.

Finished Measurements Lace 17”/43 cm depth X 42 1/2”/108 cm across.

Yarn Pick a lace weight/light fingering yarn that will give you good stitch definition. I used 600m/656yds (100g) of lace weight. Testers used 534m/585yds to 570m/624yds with US2.5/3mm to US3/3.25mm knitting needles.

Beads If beading, you will need 574 size 8 or 6 beads.
Gauge Blocked: 28 stitches X 28 rows = 10 cm/4 inches in stockinette.

Knitting Needles For lace I used 2.5/3.0 mm. Adjust needle size depending on your knitting gauge and yarn weight.
