Ondeh Ondeh Amigurumi
This amigurumi was inspired by its namesake, the ondeh ondeh, a popular local kueh in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. They are small and bite-sized balls consisting of a chewy skin made from pandan-flavoured glutinous rice flour, wrapped around a molten filling of gula melaka (palm sugar), and coated with shredded coconut.
Pattern Notes
This ondeh ondeh amigurumi is beginner-friendly and quick to make. The whole ondeh ondeh amigurumi consists of 1 part, i.e. a crochet sphere
This pattern requires green and white blended yarn. To make the blended yarn, combine the lace weight white yarn with the green yarn. If using fingering/sports weight white yarn, divide the white yarn in half, then combine it with the green yarn.
