Onding
Members of the Espace Tricot team have put together this collection to raise money for organizations doing crucial work in our communities. 100% of proceeds raised from the Crossroads Collection (individual patterns and e-book) will be split between La Ligue des Noirs du Québec (The Black Coalition of Quebec) and the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal until July 17th . While the e-book will only be available until July 17, patterns will be available as permanent individual downloads after that date.
The quiet beauty a heavy fall of snow bestows on barren landscapes and dirty city streets is one of the sweetest gifts winter can bring. Onding is a simple funnel-shaped cowl knit from the bottom up which seeks to capture the topography of freshly fallen snow with a mix of textures (twisted rib, reverse stockinette, and bobbles) that are simple and harmonious and which will give warmth and comfort to both the knitter and wearer.
