One color after another. One stripe after another. One V nestled into the next.
Designed with Advent minis, mini skein sets, or those little leftovers we just can’t bear to part with, One After Another is all about putting those beautiful colors to good use.
The nested chevrons make the most of every color, and the relaxed fit makes this an easy sweater to wear. Dress it up or throw it on with your favorite jeans—either way, it’s a sweater you’ll reach for again and again.
And the best part? It’s much easier to knit than it was to design.

MATERIALS
Yarn:
Factory Girl Yarn + Fiber Lustre fingering 80% fine sw merino/20% mulberry silk
MC: 399 yds 365 m 100 g
Minis: 80 yds 70 m 20 g
Color used: See chart

Needles (suggested size):
US 3 3.25 mm circular needles in 16” 40 cm and 24” 60 cm lengths. The 24” length will be used for bottom hem ribbing and the 16” length for collar and cuffs. For small circumferences, use Magic Loop or double-pointed needles (DPNs), as preferred.
US 4 3.5 mm circular needles in 16” 40 cm and 24” 60 cm lengths for sleeves and main body.
US E/4 3.5 mm crochet hook for crochet cast-on.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Gauge (after blocking):
23 sts and 32 rows = 4” 10 cm in stockinette stitch worked flat (5.75 sts and 8 rows = 1” 2.5 cm).
Sleeves: Approximately 24 sts = 4” 10 cm in stockinette stitch worked in the round.
Because the chevron shaping affects how the fabric spreads, finished body measurements do not correspond directly to stockinette stitch gauge.
Always block your swatch.
