Any yarn (I used 2.5 mm polyester cord (yarn alternative - YarnArt Macrame, ~ 250 m (9 842 in)
Hook suitable for your yarn (I used 2.5 mm)
Techniques needed to make a purse - basic stitches (US terms):
Slip stitch (sl st)
Half double crochet (hdc)
Size of the finished item:
The size of the finished bag depends on the yarn and hook size. My bag:
19 cm (7.4 in) - height x 28 cm (11 in) - length
Gauge: 17 stitches and 11 rows in 4 inches
