The One Scoop or Three Sock Pattern contains cables and basic knit/ purl stitches for texture. With a heel flap and wide toe this is the perfect sock for beginners or the very experienced knitter.

I’ve really enjoyed making this sock, based on my love of ice cream and my favourite flavour, Pistachio.

I chose 2 yarns from my favourite Sirdar Country Style 4Ply stash to simulate the cone and ice cream colours. Shades 540 - Mint and 392 - Camel. You’ll only need one ball of each to complete a pair.

I’m sure this pattern will look lovely in any colourway you choose. The waffle texture is super effective and evokes the idea of an ice cream cone perfectly!

Using 2mm needles you get a thick textured sock with only a little stretch. (Sizing up should be fairly easily achieved by going up needle sizes)
