I wanted to design one basic template for a raglan sleeve sweater that could be made into two very different looking arguments by simple changing the color. This pattern has two version all in one pattern, Prime Mover and the Sock Monkey.

Prime Mover is striped and the rows of stripes are based on prime numbers.

Sock Monkey, well, it is the same color as the sock monkey I had as a kid.

This pattern includes completed directions for both the long and short sleeved sweaters and row counts for the striped sweater including:

  • Stitch counts for every row the involves a decrease or increase
  • Simple chart in addition to written direction to show how to create the lace section decreases
  • Yarn requirements for both sweaters
