Das Open Cable Shawl ist ein dreieckiges Tuch, das flach von Ecke zu Ecke gestrickt wird.
Die Form entsteht durch Zunahmen und Abnahmen. Als optisches Detail verläuft ein Zopfmuster durch das Tuch, das mit I-Cord-Rändern für einen sauberen Abschluss versehen ist. Das Zopfmuster und das Tuchmuster sind vollständig in Diagrammen (Charts) dargestellt.
Material
50 g Drops Flora zusammen mit 25 g Kid Silk Mohair
oder
50 g Drops Lima
oder
50 g Tynn Peer Gynt zusammen mit 25 g Tynn Silk Mohair
oder
50 g Hjertegarn Rustic (bei diesem Garn die Nadelstärke auf 5 mm erhöhen)
Maschenprobe
25 Maschen x 35 Reihen = 10 x 10 cm im Zopfmuster auf 3,5 mm Nadeln
Garnverbrauch
Für das Tuch werden benötigt:
• 100 g DK-Garn oder
• 50 g Fingering-Garn plus 25 g Mohair
Es sollten mindestens 250 m von jedem verwendeten Garn vorhanden sein.
Wenn das Tuch größer werden soll, können die Charts B und C öfter wiederholt werden.
Wenn nur eine bestimmte Garnmenge zur Verfügung steht, wird Chart B so lange gestrickt, bis etwa die Hälfte des Garns verbraucht ist, danach beginnt der Abnahmeteil mit Chart C.
Wenn zusätzliche oder weniger Wiederholungen gearbeitet werden, müssen die Lace-Wiederholungen im Abnahmeteil entsprechend angepasst werden.

The Open Cable Shawl is a triangular Shawl, worked flat from corner to corner. The Shape is created with increases and decreases. As a visual interest, there is a cable-pattern going on and the Scarf is finished off with icord-edges for a clean finish. The cable-pattern and Scarf-pattern are fully charted.
For this shawl you need 100g of DK weight Yarn or 50g fingering weight yarn plus 25g Mohair. You should at least have 200m of each Yarn you are working with. If you want your shawl to be bigger, work Chart B and C more often. If you have a specific amount of yarn, you can knit Chart B until you knitted through half of your yarn and then start the decreases with Chart C. If you add more repeats or decide to do less chart repeats, remember to adjust the lace repeats for the decrease section.
