All proceeds from my Ravelry store, “CBGiroux Knit for Good Designs” go to local Maine food pantries. This pattern uses two strands of yarn knit together in the round. This could easily be made with a single strand of Aran as well. Begin with stretchy German cast-on. Simple K1-P1 ribbing is followed by 3-row repeat for easy cable which repeats until the crown. Knitter uses knit and purl stitches as well as a slip stitch keeping the yarn in back. Good for someone new to cables. Adjust the amount of slouch by adding or subtracting length. Makes a quick and beautiful gift. Jazz it up with a faux-fur pom pom!
