This pattern includes visual charts and written instructions for one sweater with three different designs of Icelandic Yoke. They are knit from the neck down with increases at the raglan seams. A pattern for a matching hat is also included.

The pattern is more or less the same for both dolls (7.5” Riley and 11” Bethany) but the needles used are different, creating the two sizes.

This knitting pattern can help you create a detailed fair isle sweater, like the ones pictured here. This yoked sweater is worked from the turtleneck downwards. The colorwork is completed on the yoke, which means that dressing the doll is less of a challenge than with a sweater where the colorwork goes all the way down the sleeves. The sweater is completely open in the back for ease of dressing.

The sweaters may fit a variety of 7-8 or 10-12 inch dolls, but are specifically fitted to Helen Kish’s Riley & Bethany dolls.
