The Orlock Shawl is worked side to side to form a shallow crescent shape. It is named after Orlock Point on the Down Coastline in N. Ireland and the colour name of the yarn from Irish Artisan Yarns. The body is worked in garter stitch with a pretty lace border emulating the waves on the coastline. This is worked at the same time as the body of the shawl. The pattern has full written instruction with stitch counts. The pattern is fully charted. There are notes included on how to adjust the size of the shawl and make the most of the yarn you have.
