OSKARS Trousers are a cozy, warm knitwear piece worked from the top down.

The colour pattern is created by holding two strands together in two different colours. The project begins with the waistband in a rib pattern, into which an elastic band is sewn later on. For sizes 50/56 and 62/68 this is optional, as little ones at that age are usually not very mobile yet.

In the diaper/seat area, short rows are used to create extra width.

The waistband and leg cuffs are knitted double-stranded using the main colour only. The rest of the pants are knitted with one strand of the main colour and one strand of the contrast colour.

The pattern comes in two versions. The standard version is designed for babies/children who wear disposable diapers. The cloth-diaper version is cut wider to comfortably accommodate a cloth diaper bum.

From size 86/92 onwards, there is also a version with a reduced stitch count in the crotch for children who no longer wear diapers (this does not mean that a child should be potty-trained at that size - every child develops at their own pace ).

The pattern is suitable for confident beginner knitters. All techniques used are explained in short, easy-to-follow video tutorials and additionally you’ll find a video that shows all steps combined and explained in more detail.

OSKARS Trousers eine gemütliche, warme Hose die von oben nach unten gestrickt wird.

Das Farbmuster entsteht durch das 2-fädige Stricken mit zwei verschiedenen Farben. Gestartet wird mit dem Hosenbund im Rippenmuster, in den später ein Gummiband eingenäht wird. Für die Größen 50/56 und 62/68 ist dies optional, da die Kleinen in diesem Alter meist noch nicht sehr mobil sind.

Im Windel/Po-Bereich wird mit verkürzten Reihen gearbeitet, um mehr Weite zu generieren.

Bauch- und Beinbündchen werden 2-fädig mit der Hauptfarbe gestrickt. Der Rest wird mit einem Faden Haupt- und einem Faden Nebenfarbe gestrickt.

Die Anleitung unterscheidet sich in zwei Versionen. Die Standard-Version ist für Babies/Kinder gedacht, die Einweg-Windeln tragen. Die Stoffwindel-Version ist weiter konzipiert, damit dort auch ein Stoffwindel-Popo hineinpasst. Ab Größe 86/92 ist auch eine Version mit reduzierter Maschenanzahl im Schritt vorgesehen, falls keine Windel mehr getragen wird (Dies bedeutet nicht, dass ein Kind in der Größe trocken sein sollte. Jedes Kind hat sein eigenes Tempo )

Die Anleitung ist für geübte Strickanfängerinnen geeignet.
