Description The Oso Tank is knit in the round, from the bottom up in the Broken Rib Stitch. It has been made using two strands of DK held together or alternatively, you can use a bulky weight yarn. Make sure your gauge swatch is correct when deciding on yarn.
The top is meant to be form-fitting; the yarn used has good stretch, but will continue to hold its shape. If it’s tighter it will stretch and offer support. If you would like a looser fit I would suggest sizing up, however, a larger size will provide more ease and less support. This pattern also provides instructions for optional bust darts in 5 cup sizes.

Below are the sizes with rough yardage since it depends on yarn used.

Sizes: 1- 187yds, (2)-196yds, 3-217yds, (4)-227yds, 5-236yds, (6)-248yds, 7-266yds, (8)-275yds, 9-286yds, (10)-306yds, 11-320yds, (12)-333yds, 13-333yds, (14)-357yds, 15-367yds, (16)-379yds, 17-380yds, (18)-400yds

Gauge: Gauge is measured in two separate ways since the pattern is made in ribbing. You will measure gauge ‘stretched’ and ‘un-stretched’.

Unstretched Broken Rib Stitch
14 sts and 26 rows = 10 cm x 12.5 cm (4” x 5”)

Stretched Broken Rib Stitch (Please stretch your swatch to make sure that your ribbed fabric can stretch and that the fabric will be opaque enough for skin coverage)
10 sts and 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4” x 4”)
