The Out of the Gate Socks is the sister pattern to the Open A Gate Mitts using the same cable at the front. Create a matching set to keep you warm and cozy on chilly days of the winter.

The pattern features a distinctive cable and ribbing which makes them stretchy and ensures a snug fit. The simple to work 4x4 cable is made interesting and unusual by adding elongated stitches and strategically placed purl stitches. The socks are worked from the toe up with a ribbed gusset, reinforced short row heels, and heel flap. The cable pattern is charted and written. Directions for four sizes are given. The pattern is needle-neutral, use your preferred type of needles.

The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.
