Outward Bound Socks
These socks are designed to be simple but effective, with just enough rhythm to the knitting to make you want to do a little bit more. The textured panel along the top and front of the sock is easy to work and bold enough that it can take a variegated or striping yarn, but this pattern will work equally well in a solid or semi-solid yarn, with contrast cuffs and toes.
The socks are worked from the top-down, with a heel flap and turn construction for maximum adjustability. Three sizes are offered, with 56, 64 or 72 stitch counts.
As I was making these socks, a way of using the leftovers of both my yarns to make a companion pair came to me and the Return Journey Socks were born. So if you put two or more of my patterns into your basket and enter the code Companions, you will receive one pattern for free.
