This pattern was born out of my frustration of not being able to find an adult jumper depicting this particular alien. I’ve loved this alien since the film came out. I designed this sweater back in 2021 and didn’t write down all the instructions and I’ve only just got around to re-making it and writing the pattern out.

It’s an oversized boxy design dependant on your size.

The armpit to armpit measurement is 68cm and the shoulder to hem measurement is 61cm, based upon the tension for Cygnet Aran (19 stitches and 27 rows for a 10x10cm square) and using 4.5mm knitting needles.

Cygnet Aran 100g - 217 Black - 700g approx

Stylecraft Special Aran - 1064 Mocha - 100g
Yarnsmiths Create Aran - 4080 Chocolate Brown - 100g
Yarnsmiths Create Aran - 4040 White - 100g
Yarnsmiths Create Aran - 4266 Hydrangea Blue - 100g
Yarnsmiths Create Aran - 4110 Bright Red - 100g
