Wonky Pigeon Jumper
Here is an OVERSIZED Pigeon jumper pattern.
Knit flat and sewn together.
Please note there is no GAUGE/TENSION with this pattern.
I advise looking at your ball band label for gauge instructions.
This is made using the intarsia method.
My finished jumper measured armpit to armpit 26 inches and length from shoulder to hem approx 28 inches but obviously depending on your tension yours will measure bigger or smaller or the same.
This pattern is very basic. It’s knit from the bottom up and sewn together. It comprises of a back, front and two sleeves. The collar is knit after the back and front have been sewn together. If YOU decide to change how the garment is made, for instance changing to Raglan sleeves or changing the sizing then don’t send me messages saying the jumper is complicated or doesn’t work.
NOTE:- I don’t appreciate comments about the sizing or the accuracy of the Pigeon. I have already advised that this jumper is OVERSIZED and one size only. If you don’t like the size, don’t buy the pattern. Wild Pigeons in the UK come in various colours, however they all tend to have PINK feet not orange so no comments about the colours, because I don’t care.
You can pick your own colours, needle size, and if you know how to knit fully you can change the style of the neck, the length, the width whatever you want but don’t message me saying the pattern is wrong if you decided to change it.
