If you love simple knits and don’t like shaping, the Oversized Crop Pullover is exactly what you need.
Simple street style design features Stockinette and Knit Below stitch patterns and is worked in two colours of chunky weight yarn. The effect is almost Quilt- like for a snuggly knit. It’s a proper cold season woolly.
SKILL LEVEL: BEGINNER.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
• 10 x 50g balls crop length (12 x 50g balls standard length)/ 500, (600) m or 547, (656) yds using Drops Snow Uni Colour: 53 light grey shade.
• 2 x 150g balls (300 m or 330 yds) using Alpine Angora Multi Colour:
Yellow, Gold Light Grey: 63143
NB If you substitute another yarn, please check tension and yardage.
• 1 Circular needle 9.00 mm x 80 cm (US 13).
NB Needle size is only a guide- if you get too many stitches on 10 cm, take a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, take a smaller needle size.
• 1 Tapestry needle.
SIZE: M/L oversized.
The pattern is in 2 lengths. It is photographed in the M / L size crop length option. Pattern is written for crop length with instructions to standard length.
Cropped Length (from top of the shoulders) - 42 cm (16 1⁄2 ins). Standard Length (from top of the shoulders) - 49 cm (19 1⁄4 ins).
Flat width (just below armhole) - 65 cm (25 1⁄2 ins).
Total sleeve length (unrolled from top of shoulders) - 68 cm (26 3⁄4 ins).
GAUGE (Tension): 10 sts and 14 rows = 10 cm (4 ins), measured over stockinette st pattern, (garment being blocked), using 9.00 mm (US 13) needle or size required to give correct tension. It’s very important to check your gauge (tension) before starting as working to the wrong tension will mean your garment won’t be size shown.
