This is a pattern that will work in any gauge and any yarn, just make sure you use hook of apropriate size (a bit smaller than yarn calls for).

To make this pattern I used:

• 8/4 yarn in brown (for the branch), light pink/dark pink and light blue/dark blue (for owls), green (for leaves), dark red (for heart), yarn scraps in white and black (for eyes) and scraps used throughout the pattern (for ear tassels). I worked with double thread and a 3,5 mm hook.
• polyester fiberfill
• blunt end needle
• stitche marker

Stitches and techniques used: magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble, increase, invisible decrease

Skill level: confident beginner/intermediate
