This little owl can be made with a wide variety of yarns and funky colours to be used as a toy finger puppet or a key ring/ bag charm or a Christmas tree decoration.

The body is created in two colours using the intarsia method. The head is worked in the round and the wings flat. Stitches used are double crochet, double crochet 2 together, half trebles and slip stitches.

I have used James Brett Bubbalicious in white or silver for some of the fronts because it is so soft. On others I have used James Brett Twinkle for the sparkle. You will need a small amount of toy stuffing for the head and black embroidery thread for the eyes. Sometimes I have used silver thread to decorate the wings.

A downloadable version of the pattern is available from my Etsy shop.
