ABOUT THE PATTERN
#OYSTERCLUTCH is crocheted from the bottom up using single crochet. The base of the clutch is first worked in the round with increases at the sides. The sides of the clutch are then worked in the round without further increases, before the clutch frame is finally crocheted into the work using single crochet.

TECHNIQUES
CHAIN (CH): Yarn over and pull through the loop on the hook.
SLIP STITCH (SL ST): Insert the hook into the stitch. Yarn over and pull through botht he stitvh and the loop on the hook
SINGLE CROCHET (SC): Insert the hook into the stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over once more, then pull through both loops on the hook.
