Pacific Ripple
If you enjoy this pattern, I’d love it if you gave it a heart! ❤️ It helps others discover the design and supports my work as an independent designer. Thank you so much!
The Pacific Ripple Blanket is a cozy, bold knit that blends classic chevron texture with cheerful stripes in chunky yarn. Designed for confident beginners and experienced knitters, this pattern uses basic increases and decreases to create a flowing zigzag motif that’s relaxing and easy to memorize.
This project works up quickly in bulky yarn and is a great stash buster for color pops or coordinated sets.
Whether you’re knitting for a baby shower, gifting a handmade throw, or just want a fun, colorful knit for your home — this pattern brings texture, joy, and warmth to your needles.
I originally designed this as a cozy lap blanket for my two cats, Jinx and Zeus — they love curling up beside me while I knit. It’s become a favorite spot for both of them, and I hope it brings that same kind of comfort and cheer to your home.
