Pacific Ripple is a bold, modern striped chevron blanket knit in soft, bulky-weight yarn. Designed to work as either a baby blanket or cozy lap blanket, it features a rhythmic ripple texture created with basic increases and decreases.
The pattern is easy to memorize, quick to knit, and customizable in size — perfect for baby gifts, stash-busting, or adding a pop of color to your space.
Sample size is approximately 33″ × 46″ — a slim, modern shape that’s perfect for lap use, strollers, or toddlers. Width and length is easily adjustable by adding repeats.
I originally designed this as a cozy lap blanket for my two cats, Jinx and Zeus — they love curling up beside me while I knit. It’s become a favorite spot for both of them, and I hope it brings that same kind of comfort and cheer to your home.
