The Panda Earflap Hat is a free crochet pattern on my blog!

A top-down crochet hat featuring a panda face with embroidered eyes, applique eye patches, nose, cheeks, and pom-pom-tipped ear flap ties.

Sizes: Newborn, 1–6 Months, 6–12 Months, Toddler, Child, Teen/Adult Small

Yarn: Loops & Threads Soft Classic Weight 4 / Medium (100% acrylic)

Gauge: First 3 rounds = 3½“

Construction: Hat is worked from the top down in dc. Ear flaps are worked in rows directly into the hat body and shaped with dc2tog decreases. Ears, eye patches, nose, eyes, and cheeks are crocheted as separate pieces and sewn on; eye details are embroidered.
