A lightweight fall hat for kids!

This is a great pattern for a single skein of multi-colored yarn and a small amount of solid yarn. The more contrast between the two yarns, the better! The pattern includes yardage for the colorwork section, so it’s easy to stash-dive for this hat.

The pattern includes both written instructions as well as charted instructions for the colorwork section.

The pattern also includes basic instructions for adding a lining to this hat, which is strongly recommended for kids.

The pattern includes three sizes: 16” head circumference, 18” head circumference, and 20” head circumference.

Techniques involved:
~ Knitting in the round
~ Stranded colorwork (two colors)
~ Basic decreasing stitches
~ Recommended hand or machine sewing for the lining
