This is a cowl that is knit flat as a parallelogram and sewn together along the increase/ decrease edges. It features a simple stripe pattern in between the increase and decrease sections for a cowl that is intriguing and warm. It can easily be customized to a taller cowl by adding more increase/ decrease rows, or to a shorter cowl by subtracting them. To make it longer in circumference you can simply knit extra rows before and after the colorwork sections.
