The pattern is intended for “countdown calendar”/“advent” 5g/20yd mini skeins or scraps and uses 24 mini skeins.

The leaf shapes are achieved using the “Stacked Stitches” technique invented by Xandy Peters.

The piece is worked flat on the bias, then grafted to close.

Sizes: Long (tall)
• The tall version (shown) uses each mini skein once, with each line of leaves using approx. 17 yds of yarn in the sample. Finished measurements: approx. 22” circumference, 13” height

• The long version casts on half as many motifs but uses each of the 24 colors twice for a cowl that is long enough for looping. You may choose whether to repeat colors 1-24 again for colors 25-48 or rearrange them as you like. Feel free to use 48 different colors if available. Finished measurements: approx. 44” circumference, 6.5” height
