Pattern includes:

Technique:
Overlay Mosaic Crochet with slanted stitches: each round is made with one color and consists of single crochet in the back loop (sc blo) and double crochet in the front loop (dc flo)

Stitches:
In addition to vertical dc, I also use slanted dc and extended dc (made one or two stitches back or forward), decreases, increases, and occasionally, front post stitches (there is a video and explanation for all stitches)

• Baby Blanket (Fingering/ 4ply, narrow border) Width x Height: 80.5 cm x 101 cm/ 31 ⅝“ x 39 ¾”

• Lap Blanket (Fingering/ 4ply yarn, wide border) Width x Height: 89 cm x 110 cm/ 35” x 43 ¼“

• Small Throw (DK/ 8ply yarn, narrow border) Width x Height: 104.5 cm x 131.5 cm/ 41 ⅛“ x 51 ¾”

Yarn option 1 (Fingering/ 4ply for Baby Blanket and Lap Blanket): Scheepjes Whirlette (60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 100g/ 455m/ 497.6yds) or Scheepjes Whirl (60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 215-225g/ 1000m/ 1094yds) or Scheepjes Mega Whirl (60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 666g/ 2998m/ 3279yds)

Yarn option 2 (DK/ 8ply for Small Throw): Scheepjes Softfun (60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 50g/ 140m)
