Part of Your World features a gorgeous, intricate looking (but easy to create) ‘mermaid’ slip stitch pattern, and a textured heel flap. I chose the name Part of Your World because I couldn’t help but feel like a mermaid when wearing these socks!

POYW is worked cuff down, with a heel flap and gusset.

The pattern can be easily adapted into a mid-calf, or shortie sock but adjusting the number of pattern repeats you do.

The nature of the slipped stitch pattern causes there to be a little more room on the back of the leg, and a tighter instep. Most knitters have found the two balanced each other out.
