This is the DK/Worsted weight version of the pattern. The original Patagonia Peaks pattern intended for Aran/Bulky weight can be found here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/patagonia-peaks

The Patagonia Peaks is the knitted fleece of your dreams, inspired by the legendary garments by a famous brand named after the same mountains. The iconic quarter zip opening, high collar and chest pocket make this piece an instant wardrobe staple that can be worn to hike up a summit just as well as to stroll through a city. The choice of bouclé yarn gives the coziest and spongiest finish to the fabric, while the colorful triangles, aka the mountain peaks, add a bold and graphic touch to this classic shape, making it an absolute showstopper that you will never want to take off.
Jam packed with interesting and lesser-known knitting techniques, this sweater will keep you engaged through the whole process and make you even more proud to say “thanks, I made it!”.

To see different versions of the pattern knit in various yarns, sizes, fibers and colors, you can check out the testers version under the “Project” tab at the top of the page, or the #PatagoniaPeaks on Instagram.

The pattern has been tested and professionally tech edited.

SUGGESTED YARNS
Blue sample: Bouclé DK (100% SW merino wool, 220 meters / 240 yards per 100g): This base is common amongst hand dyers. The colors I used are from Explorer Knits and Fibers (MC, Bluebird Day) and Breathe in Color Fiber Co (CC, all 3 are custom dyed).

Pastel sample: Robinson by De Rerum Natura in Loutre, Muscari, Sirène and Nougat (70% merino d’Arles, 30% recycled cotton, 3 ply, woolen spun, worsted weight, 250 meters / 273 yards per 100g)

If using bouclé or any kind of fluffy yarn, use a DK weight yarn. Otherwise, use Worsted weight.
